What an honor to meet Cal Ripkin JR....as a huge baseball fan, I was blown away by simply talking to him for a few minutes. Both Rebecca and I were very surprised to see how big he is...he is 6'4! We expected him to be a lil tiny shortstop guy....He was ver kind and a pleasure to have on our show!

Gabby played Winter indoor soccer in Hudson

My daughter Gabby had a chance to play basketball at THE Q....as a dad, I was thrilled to see her play ball there...a great photo op....it may have been more fun for me than her...when I explained to her that "this is where LeBron James plays."...she simply replied, "cool, can we go get treats now?"

"THE GABSTER", (aka my daughter Gabrielle) has moved on from soccer to her first season of basketball.....uh, not that I'm a proud father...but......here's a bunch of snappy pix of Gabs in her new uniform......

WE MADE IT AROUND LAKE TAHOE!!!! A special thank you to everyone who helped make our ride a huge success!!! The TEAM IN TRAINING ride was a powerful event both emotionally and physically. Sometimes, we forget how lucky we are to be able to do things we get to do while others must fight cancer. I have a new appreciation for those who have survived, those who have lost their fight and for those who help fight the fight. I had no idea that this ride would be so powerful. Also, a special thank you to Benny Antonoli and Kristen Carpenter for their countless hours in going above and beyond to battle a disease that effects 1 in 3 of us. These are the unsung heroes who deserve a great big THANK YOU! I highly recommend that you make one of their events a goal in your own life. It's a great thing to add to your life list. Not only will it help you accomplish an amazing goal, it will help fight a horrible disease!! It truly changed my life. www.teamintraining.com

Wow! What an honor to be named "Cleveland's biggest Mouth in Radio". Uh, I owe it all to my parents....I'm still taking grief for the near life-size picture that appeared in the Sunday Plain Dealer....Who knew that a photo shoot that required me to just sit there with my mouth open would take up soooo much energy.....OY!

BRUSH WITH, UH, GREATNESS: In South Beach, Florida I ran into MIKE TYSON at my hotel! The giant tattoo over his eye confirmed that it was him. Two things shocked me about the chance meeting; 1. he was very kind 2. I am much bigger than he is and actually thought I could take him.....the key word is "thought".

Listener Steve wrote in to tell us to quit making fun of Jewel's snaggle-tooth....here's his email and photo... Allan, just curious as to why your rippin' on Jewel all the time . . . (Friday you called her a snaggle tooth again!) It wasn't all that long ago I had to set Rebecca straight. Look at this attached pic of Jewel and tell me if the only thing you can think about is her snaggle tooth!?! : ) Maybe you should put yourself in her shoes . . . Nevermind, I did it for you!
