Bridget's Reverse Raffle Fundraiser
Will and Bridget Woloysn are the parents of three great children Tori age 13, Willie age 12, and Brittinie 8. In 2004, Bridget was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma cancer in her jaw. After extensive surgery she made a “full” recovery. In March, 2007, osteosarcoma cancer was found in Bridget’s femur bone. Bridget had to have extensive surgery on her leg and after a long recovery, she started receiving chemotherapy. She spent many summer nights in Medina General Hospital receiving treatment and things seemed to be looking up. In March 2008, the cancer had returned to Bridget’s mouth, lungs, and spine. The Woloysns’ are going to incur major medical expenses during Bridget’s fight to once again overcome these cancers. We are holding a Reverse Raffle on May 9, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the Medina Eagles. This raffle will help ease some of the financial burden off of Will and allow him to give his full concentration to Bridget and his family during this very critical time. If you are interested in helping Bridget and her family, please contact Pamela Wellman at 330-721-1338 or Christel Dunham at 216-571-3053 to purchase tickets, or if you have any questions. Save A Stray
Save A Stray - Our development is located near a nature preserve. As a result, it's become a dumping ground for cats. Thanks to Dr. Woods and his 100 free neuters, we were able to have a few of them neutered/spayed. We are desperately seeking a family for a beautiful big Ginger cat. He came to our door on New Years Day. He had a bb lodged in his neck and fishing line tied around the base of his tale. He's since been bathed, dewormed, neutered and been treated for earmites. He's just one of the cats in need of a permanent loving home. We'd love to keep him, however, we've already taken in three. Please help us find a home for the Big Boofa. He's very affectionate and quite big. He loves laps and hugs. The best thing you can do for a cat is spay/neuter. If you are unable to afford these things or maybe you just want to spay/neuter and release, there are many places in our area that do it free or for less then $25. Call your local ASPCA for more info. To adopt The Big Boofa, please e-mail sweetpjs@gmail.com. For more info, go to http://sweetpjs.googlepages.com/catrescue
