THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW TO END IN 2011
The Oprah Winfrey Show will end its 25-year run on Sept. 9th, 2011. According to Variety, Winfrey broke the news to staffers at her Chicago-based Harpo production company on Thursday. She'll officially announce her exit tomorrow.
JOHN MAYER GUSHES ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT
John Mayer told Access Hollywood he’s a big fan of Taylor Swift because of her sense of wonderment. John said, "Taylor Swift is the last person to know she's Taylor Swift, which I think is totally sweet... It's almost like Taylor Swift is like a character in a movie about a small-town girl who has her dreams come true, and what any small-town girl would do when their dreams come true is to freak out." Taylor joined Mayer on the song “Half of My Heart,” which is featured on Mayer’s latest album, Battle Studies, which is out now

It’s going to be a few years, but according a top ten list compiled by Europe’s Cartoon Network, you can expect Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s son Rocco to become the richest celebrity in Great Britain. It has Rocco poised to be worth 376-million pounds (625-million U-S dollars), some of it inherited from his famous parents, but also because he has “star quality,” “talent” and “love of the camera.” Madonna’s three other kids didn’t crack the top ten. CRAWFORD BLACKMAILER IN CUSTODY!
The 26-year-old German man who tried to get supermodel Cindy Crawford to pay him 100-thousand dollars has turned himself into police. According to the Associated Press, the man allegedly threatened to release a photo of Crawford’s seven-year-old in which the girl is pictured bound to a chair and gagged. If convicted of his one count of extortion, the man could spend up to two years in prison
